Partners
Tom Weilert is a Partner and Wealth Management Advisor at WWA. His primary focus is on designing and implementing comprehensive retirement income distribution and estate plans. Tom began his career at Northwestern Mutual in 1980.
Tom graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences and also received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Health Science Center. Tom is a Registered Representative of Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, LLC maintaining securities Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 registrations and his Life, Accident & Health Insurance license. Tom holds the Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Retirement Income Certified Professional designations.
Tom has received numerous industry awards for production and consistency. Tom is one of Northwestern Mutual's Top 20 all-time career production leaders among active representatives. He has been a leader in the industry and Northwestern Mutual in helping develop the formation of multi-generational plans in the Wealth Management process for families. The firm, WWA Integrated Wealth Strategy Group, was specifically designed to carry out the implementation of his client's plans, as well as the other partners, for the next 30-40 years.
Tom has been married for over 35 years, has 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Tom has been active in the Boy Scouts of America for over 20 years, St. Monica Catholic Church, a volunteer basketball coach for over 15 years, and is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Kathleen Wunderlick is a Partner and Financial Advisor at WWA where she has been working for the last 11 years. She is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and holds a Master’s in Education from the University of North Texas.
Kathleen is an Insurance Agent with Northwestern Mutual and a Registered Representative of Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, LLC maintaining securities Series 6 and 63 registrations and her Life, Accident & Health Insurance license. Kathleen specializes in helping families prepare for the future while living in the now.
Kathleen and her husband Bob have been happily married for 24 years, and they have two children, Maggie and Bobby. Kathleen is an active member of the St Rita Catholic Church Community, and she also serves on the Board of Directors at St Mary of Carmel.

Tom had previously spent 15 years with Northwestern Mutual working with Tom Weilert before leaving to start several successful companies. Tom understands first hand the many challenges business owners face. His mission is to provide guidance and help clients and business owners attain financial security for their families.
Tom and his wife Joy have been married for over 25 years. They have three children; Tommy, John and Sarah. Tommy and John both attend the University of Oklahoma. Sarah is a graduate of TCU and resides in Austin.

He also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Wealth Management Certified Professional® designation.
Jason began his career in financial planning in 2009 with Northwestern Mutual upon graduating from Texas A&M University. He specializes in working with successful individuals and business owners to create comprehensive financial plans that encompass all of their unique assets while understanding the complex relationships between them both. Directly from Jason: “I strive to manage and conquer the financial challenges that my clients and their business may face so that they can focus on life and family."
Jason is married to Whitney and they have two children. He grew up in Victoria, TX and he and his family now reside in Waxahachie, TX where they are active in the community and members of Stonegate Church. His outside interests include memberships in: Dallas Safari Club, Safari Club International, and the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce. He’s also a Board Member in The Waxahachie Project that helps teach financial literacy to local schools.
In his free time he loves being with his family, Aggie sports, cooking, and enjoying the outdoors. Jason is an avid hunter (bowhunting especially) and grew up managing his family's trophy exotic game and whitetail hunting ranches in the Texas hill country.

Bill Cunningham currently resides in Shreveport, Louisiana, with his wife of 38 years, Wavely. Together, they are proud parents of their three children—Emily, Rebecca, and Victoria. In addition to being a husband and a father, Bill is a proud grandfather to two granddaughters and two more grandchildren on the way. Regardless of how busy Bill’s work calendar remains, he always finds the time to stay actively involved in the lives of his daughters and their growing families. Whether it’s spending time with Victoria in Shreveport, frequenting Fort Worth, TX to visit Emily or flying to Denver, CO to visit Rebecca, Bill always finds a way to make sure he never misses anything.
Bill is a graduate from University of Louisiana-Lafayette (ULL), where he currently serves as a board member for the UL Alumni Association’s Ark-La-Tex Chapter and the ULL Athletic Advance Team. Bill is an avid sports fan. When he is not cheering on the University of Louisiana-Lafayette’s Ragin Cajuns or Louisiana Tech University’s Bulldogs during football and basketball season, you can find him embarking on a yearly tradition--taking his son-in-laws to tour and watch a game at each different major league baseball stadium in the United States.
Bill and Wavely are committed to the Shreveport community. With a passion for people and a heart for the city, Bill uses different means and avenues to show his support to several different local ministries, organizations, and non-profits. In addition, Bill and Wavely are active members of their church, Norris Ferry Community Church.
Karen is a Principal and Wealth Management Advisor at WWA. She joined the firm in May of 2018 after working with the WWA team for over 15 years. Karen’s experience ranges from developing retirement plans for small, privately owned businesses to performing due diligence for pension plans during mergers and acquisitions of large corporations. Through her combined knowledge of income tax and qualified plan regulations, Karen designs plans that maximize tax deductions as well as allocations to key employees, which are often overlooked. She also designs non-qualified deferred compensation plans and reviews plans for compliance issues.
Karen has over 30 years of industry and public accounting experience and has served as a consultant for AON, one of the largest international employee benefit consulting firms. Karen received her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Missouri – Columbia and her M.S. in Taxation from Fontbonne University in St. Louis. She is a licensed insurance agent, and financial representative. As a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, she has served on the Employee Benefits Plan Committee. She is also a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries.
Joe Fallon is a Partner and Wealth Management Advisor with WWA Integrated Wealth Strategy Group. Joe joined Northwestern Mutual in 1980 and is based in Sherman, TX. Joe’s mission is to help clients attain financial security for their families and businesses. Joe graduated from Southern Methodist University (SMU) and holds a BBA in Business. Joe holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, as well as the Chartered Life Underwriter, and Chartered Financial Consultant.
Joe has been with Northwestern since graduating from college. He spent the first 17 years in the Dallas office before moving back to his hometown. Joe is married to Bonnie and has two adult children. Joe enjoys golf and most things outdoors.

Scott has been married to Cathy for over 30 years, and both were born and raised in the DFW metroplex. They love traveling, going to concerts, and playing golf. They have two grown daughters and, currently, one son-in-law and one grand puppy. Scott is a lifetime PTA member and an active volunteer at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship. He enjoys learning, competition and thinking. As a former accountant and “recovering attorney”, Scott was a client first before deciding in 1998 to build his wealth management practice. With the professional designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP©), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®), and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP©).

Daniel Weizel recently joined WWA Integrated Wealth Strategy Group. After finishing graduate school, Daniel spent the first part of his career in the defense industry space with Raytheon Co. In 2012, Daniel became a Financial Advisor with Northwestern Mutual and has built a comprehensive financial planning practice that focuses on authentic relationships, thorough and thoughtful planning. His mission is to strategize with clients around tax-efficiency, simplicity and a vision for growth and protection of the family’s assets. Daniel takes great pride in his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation – ultimately with the belief that it’s in a client’s best interest to have knowledge around the entire landscape of the financial world.
Daniel and his wife Jennie have been married for over 13 years. They have three children; their daughter Ivy and 2 boys – Van and Levi. They live in Lake Highlands and are very involved in their community – both with kid’s sports and activities as well as Daniel’s golf game and Jennie’s tennis career.

David Adamson is the Director of Investments at WWA, overseeing the management of our clients’ investment portfolios. David has worked in the investments business for over 30 years, including roles as the President of and institutional fixed income asset manager and an institutional broker-dealer and as a member of the management team of a Dallas based family office. David graduated from SMU with a BBA in Finance and MBA (Finance).
David and his wife of 28 years, Jeanie, spend most of their free time with their five sons, Dane, Spencer, Luke, James and Bear. David also enjoys helping out the football program at his high school alma mater, Jesuit College Preparatory School.
Linda is a Lead Advisor with WWA and plays an integral role in managing our clients' accounts. She assists with portfolio design and is deeply involved in building a personal relationship with our investment clients. Linda joined our team in September of 2009. She has over 30 years of experience in the Private Wealth Management business from a leading investment bank. Her vast knowledge and experience in the investment industry is a great asset to our team. Please feel free to contact her with anything you might need regarding your investment accounts. Linda and her husband, Chris, live in Arlington, TX. They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Linda enjoys her volunteer work for her church and the local food pantry as well as being a grandparent. Linda holds her Texas State Insurance: Life, Health, Disability, Long Term Care. She is a Registered Representative of Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, LLC maintaining securities Series 7 and 66 licenses. Linda holds the RICP® designation.
Holley Black serves as Investment Operations Manager for WWA. She joined the firm in August of 2016 as an Associate Financial Representative. Holley manages trading accounts and is responsible for portfolio evaluation and rebalancing.
She also is responsible for servicing and client onboarding. She has a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University. Holley currently holds her series 7, 63, and General Lines, Life, Accident, and HMO Insurance Licenses. Holley and her husband Jacob live in Dallas and enjoy playing with their dogs, traveling and spending time outside.
Amy recently joined WWA as an Associate Financial Representative. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from University Louisiana Lafayette and received a certification in Investments and Financial Modeling through The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Amy’s passion for the financial world began during her time at Westpark Fund where she had the incredible opportunity to learn the world of investing. Amy stated, “Through my career as a teacher at Prince of Peace Catholic School in Plano, my financial analyst role at Westpark, and serving Catholic Charities Dallas as a development officer, I realized that we are all trying to accomplish the same thing – provide for our families today, tomorrow and future generations. I’m really excited for this opportunity to help educate and serve our clients at WWA and be a part of fulfilling their financial hopes and dreams.”
Amy lives in Plano with her 3 young adult children – Peyton, Hannah & Jack and their 2 dogs, Bonnie & Carly. She is an active volunteer through Prince of Peace & St. Mark’s Parishes in their hunger outreach ministries & teaches Sunday school to second graders. In her free-time she is an active cyclist, loves cooking for her family and spending time enjoying the outdoors.
Gayle joined WWA Integrated Wealth Strategy Group in March of 2012, as Tom's Personal Assistant. Gayle now serves as Tom’s Financial Coordinator. Her focus is to assist with the review of existing policies and client accounts. Gayle is active in the client wealth building process, retirement income planning and the estate planning process.
She has her BBA in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. Gayle lives in Irving with her husband, Russell, and their two dogs. She is active in her church and enjoys crafts such as ceramics, embroidery, crocheting and spending time with her family.
Sally joined WWA Integrated Wealth Strategy Group in June 2017. She is a Financial Coordinator, licensed in Texas for Life, Accident, and Health. Her focus is on client wealth building, retirement income planning and the estate planning process. Sally is part of the WWA Case Prep team and assists in the review of existing policies and client accounts. Previously, Sally served as Business Solutions Supervisor for The Container Store at the company’s headquarters in Coppell, TX. She has a B.A. in Economics & Finance from University of Texas at Dallas and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She resides in Sunnyvale, TX with her husband Jamal and twin toddlers Elijah and Noah. Sally and Jamal enjoy spending quality time with their boys, and equally enjoy date nights with just the two of them.
Jonathan joined WWA Integrated Wealth Strategy Group in August 2019 as a Financial Representative Assistant. He is licensed in Texas for Life, Accident, and Health. Jonathan’s focus is on assisting clients throughout the planning process. He also helps to build and manage qualified retirement plans. Prior to working for WWA, Jonathan graduated with a B.S. from Baylor University, in Waco, TX. He resides in Flower Mound, and enjoys cooking, skiing, and scuba diving. He is also an avid New York Yankees fan.
Jamie, a Houma native, graduated from Louisiana State University with a Masters in Liberal Arts. She works with Bill Cunningham in Shreveport, LA. Jamie, and her husband, Llanden live in Bossier City, LA. They are proud parents of their young son. Jamie has her Louisiana Life & Health Insurance License along with an extensive background in Advertising and Sales. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, decorating or hunting for treasures at a local flea market.
Maggie is an Associate Financial Representative at WWA Integrated Wealth Strategy Group. Her focus is on helping Joe Fallon manage his practice, while also supporting the daily operations and client servicing needs for our main Dallas office. Maggie first joined WWA as an Operations Assistant in 2018. She maintains her Life, Accident and Health Insurance license.
Maggie attended Texas Tech University and currently lives in Southlake, TX. She is an avid sports fan and enjoys visiting her three children in college at OU. She especially loves cheering for the Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners. In her spare time, she also enjoys volunteering, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Kaito joined WWA in June of 2023. Most recently, Kaito was a Financial Advisor with Northwestern Mutual’s Dallas Network Office for 2.5 years, as well as a Member of the Asian American – Pacific Islander resource group. He maintains his SIE, Securities Series 6 and 63 registrations, and his Life, Accident and Health Insurance license. Kaito maintains his own advising practice under the mentorship of our WWA Partners. His practice consists of business owners and clients of all life stages, and he has a distinct passion working with second-generation immigrants.
Kaito’s focus is on supporting clients throughout the planning process, while also assisting in the daily operations of WWA’s Case Prep Team.
Kaito lives in Plano, TX with his Australian Shepherd, “Doc.” He graduated from Colorado State with his B.S. in Economics in May 2020, and following graduation, made his move to the Lone Star State. When he’s not working, Kaito loves to play golf and compete in bass fishing tournaments.
Todd Alan Braden CFP®
Director of Planning Services
Todd Braden serves as Director of Planning Services for WWA. He joined WWA in November of 2016 as an Investment Operations Assistant. He transitioned to his current role in January of 2020. Todd works with business owners to reduce their fiduciary responsibility and improve the retirement outcomes of their people. He mainly focuses on 401k/Qualified Plans.
Todd began his career in 2012 after graduating from the Texas State University with a BBA in Finance. Todd is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, holds his Series 7, 63, 66 and Life, Accident, and Health General Lines Insurance Licenses. Todd and his wife Shelbie love to travel and spend time with family.
David joined the WWA team as a Portfolio Advisor after spending more than 10 years as VP Financial Advisor for a large bank in Texas. His expertise in the investment industry and financial modeling has proved a valuable addition to our investment operation in managing our client’s diverse and unique individual needs. David currently holds his series 7, 66, and General Lines, Life, Accident, and HMO Insurance Licenses.
David was born and raised in Austin, Texas and attended Texas State University. He now lives in Plano, Texas with his wife and two children, where he enjoys attending his son’s baseball games and coaching his daughter in volleyball.
Caroline joined WWA in October of 2022 as the Insurance Operations Specialist. Most recently, Caroline served as an Associate Financial Representative in the Northwestern Mutual Network Office. Previous to that, she was working for a distributor in DFW in their ATF Compliance Department. Caroline’s main focus is on account servicing. She assists the investment team with daily operations.
Caroline is from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada, and graduated from the University of North Texas in 2015. She resides in Addison with her husband Jacob and their dog Jacques. In her spare time, she enjoys snowboarding, the outdoors, and is a wildlife conservation volunteer. She is also a proud owner of the Green Bay Packers.
Bear joined WWA in June 2022 as an Investment Operations Intern. He graduated from Texas State University with his B.B.A. in Finance in May 2023 and transitioned to a full-time role on the WWA Investment Team as our Operations Associate. Bear has a distinct passion for economics, including financial markets, investment, and economic trends. His focus is client servicing, while also supporting the daily operations of WWA’s Investment Team.
Bear lives in Addison, TX. During his free time, he loves to play golf and sand volleyball. Fun fact: Following his graduation, Bear travelled to Europe and visited multiple countries such as Spain, Switzerland, Italy and more with college friends.
Daniel Banda

Daniel joined WWA in June 2023 as Associate Financial Representative. Most recently, Daniel was a Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual’s Dallas Network Office for 2.5 years, as well as a Member of the Hispanic Advisor Committee resource group. He maintains his SIE registration, and his Life, Accident and Health Insurance license. His focus is on maintaining client relationships throughout the underwriting process, while also assisting in the daily operations of WWA’s Underwriting Team.
Daniel lives in Dallas, TX, where he grew up and is a proud Skyline alumnae. When he’s not working, Daniel loves to play soccer on the weekends and play golf with friends. He loves to travel and see new places, including Barcelona, New York, and his dream is to visit Greece.
Barrett joined WWA in September 2023 as the Planning Manager. He graduated from the University of Arkansas with his B.B.A. in Finance and Economics in May 2022. Most recently, Barrett worked for Cushman & Wakefield in Arkansas as a Financial Analyst. He maintains his Life, Accident and Health Insurance license. His focus is on working with business owners to improve the retirement outcome of employees through servicing qualified retirement plans, while also assisting in the daily operations of WWA’s Qualified Planning Team.
Barrett lives in Dallas, TX. During his free time, he loves to play golf, go boating on Lake Athens, and visit his dogs Buddy & Bonnie. He’s a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoys watching any SEC football (but especially his Razorbacks). Barrett loves traveling and his favorite place to visit thus far has been Munich, Germany.
Heather Larkin
Associate Financial Representative
Heather joined our team in March of 2016. She is Jason Bang’s Associate Financial Representative, licensed in Texas for Life, Accident, and Health. Heather focuses on assisting clients throughout the planning process as well as managing requests and questions from clients regarding their existing policies and accounts. She also assists Jason with marketing strategies and growing potential client relationships. Heather previously worked as an accountant and has over 6 years of accounting background. Heather lives in Waxahachie, TX with her Fiancé Tim and her two children, Kye and Abrielle. Heather enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She is also a supporter and volunteer for the Waxahachie Youth Baseball Association in which her two children play baseball. Heather and Tim are season ticket holders of the Dallas Mavericks and enjoy cheering on the team at home games.
Paris Barnum, a Louisiana native, moved to Plano at a young age to train at World Olympic Gymnastics Academy. After graduating high school from Spring Creek Academy, she received a full ride gymnastics scholarship to Arizona State University. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Studies with a focus in Psychology and Sociology, studying productivity and efficiency in the workplace. Her studies of organizational psychology and business will bring a new dynamic to our business, staff and clients.
Paris resides in Nevada, TX with her husband, John and their daughter, Riley who is 2yrs old. When possible, and the Texas weather permits, they enjoy spending as much time outside as a family. Paris enjoys a nice patio with live music, running, and getting all the playtime in with Riley as possible!
Courtney has been a native of Texas for over 40 years. She graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.B.A. in Marketing. Courtney brings over 25 years of Marketing and Sales experience to the team. Currently she handles all team marketing and branding efforts. This includes creating and maintaining marketing materials, managing our social media platform, and streamlining content for our website. She also helps to oversee client relations.
Courtney resides in Lewisville, TX with her husband, Shad, and youngest daughter, Ryder, 17. Her older daughter, Reese, 20, resides in Oxford, Mississippi where she is starting her Junior year at The University of Mississippi. Courtney’s hobbies include distance running, fitness training, decorating, jewelry making, and spending time with her family and friends.
